Moving On
Elon Musk offered more than $40 billion for vapor and then tried to bail on the deal when he found out there were a lot of fake accounts in his new acquisition and it wasn’t all it seemed. Now he’s back terrorizing the many taking large amounts of money for doing nothing while taking large amounts of money. Amazon filed suit against more than 10,000 Facebook group administrators for allegedly orchestrating review fraud and lying on the Internet. Juan Soto turned down almost a half billion dollar offer to play baseball for the Washington Nationals. President Joe Biden announced new executive steps to combat climate change on the hottest day of the summer while remaining under fire for trying to take credit for declining gasoline prices when the country faced widespread inflation and the highest cost for gas in years.
I dislike retirement but I knew it was time to “move on” when little things I used to ignore like over-wording and selling by silly dancing and smiling like everything is wonderful, made me fume; and, to bring back the balance, the “stories” on the blog are accounts and recollections that remind me that life is more than anger, contempt, and vitriol for lies.
