These Guys Are No Geniuses

Selling technology like it is a personal achievement to be seen driving without touching the steering wheel or watching a supposed intruder at your front door from work. And the beat goes on in sports broadcasting where telling the story has been repurposed as telling a story. Getting paid to do this seems criminal.

I violently hate that guy.

I am not going to lie to you.

I will ask you guys this because I don’t think it is a question.

I don’t want to make any assumptions but I’m gonna assume you are a fan of…

I am not going to lie to you. I don’t think lying is as big a sin as not doing your homework.

I think you absolutely 100% have to but I have absolutely 0 faith that you will.

It looks like he’s on the way to putting it all together.

They have gotten the short shift lately.

He loves him some analytics.

The all-time greats at the position have a knack for staying healthy.

You can never measure a man’s heart and this guy’s got a lot of it.

This guy has athletic ability oozing our of his pores.

It’s almost mind-boggling.

Their balls were touching.[1]Sly giggling like eighth graders. They were not comfortable with that.[2]Louder giggling.

I’m gonna say this right now.

He is even more capable than I assumed.

Oh, my…that was an aerial of a salmon leaping out of the wauhtah.

One game is one game and there’s a long way to go in a seven-game series.

If we trade up, we have to deal with all the other trade ups. I haven’t calibrated that yet.

We live in a time where talent doesn’t matter and that’s why I have a job.

Hardest thing about being a NFL owner is Twitter.

There’s no other course like it on earth.

I actually think it does matter.

Now we are in what we call “phase one” which is alot like phase two.

How excited are you? I’m real excited.

I actually think he doesn’t have the onions.

It’s not just the footwork. It’s the throws.

He’s a little bit slippery in the pocket.

When he was blessed with talent around him, he was somewhat successful; without talent, he was worthless.

We thought we were the worst team in the league and we were better than that.

Yeah, it definitely starts up front…that’s the backbone of our team.

He’s on the inside of this team and has been for years.

Most of the new guys that I have met are awesome.

He took a dump when the team took a jump.

They have one of the best backends in the NFL.

They look worse than they actually are.

That video…I tweeted it out…It blew up.

Perception almost becomes reality.

His public speaking is just through the roof.

I’m actually better sniffin’ out the a-hole with guys

That is such good nonsense.

No way in good conscious I can take that pick.

He never mentioned the city of New England.

He’s not the same player he was five years ago.

That’s some eye-popping stuff.

I kind of agree.  I almost wish…I just look at that and say, “Gosh, they could win 4 games…”

Same play the other way.

Do all languages have words for “yes” and “no?” Maybe.

I spoke to two people with knowledge and now I don’t know anything.

It’s not just movement. It’s the joy of great memories. Enjoy the movement.

She is almost fictional at this point.

Lying

Coaches are fired after (and sometimes during) dismal seasons and talking heads and other narrative creators put forth opinions about who should be hired as each team’s next savior. Of late, the squawk centered on finding younger shinning stars in spite of the finding of no statistical relationship between the age of a team’s coach and the team’s performance. Clearly it is easy to lie when you don’t need or have data to confirm what you are saying.

Duh

Neither team has won a championship. Whoever wins will forever be known as the first.

Bulletin

“For the most part, I don’t care what people think, I really don’t.” Broadcasting Blowhard and Liar
For the most part, we don’t care what you think, we really don’t!

At a score of 16-0, it is tough to accept “both defenses have been terrific” color commentary.

With a 2-12 record, it is tough to accept “it has been a terrific season” for player rejected for unsportsmanlike conduct.
