Creating a Narrative

There was a time when reporting was about sharing objective and interesting stories about things that happened. In the cesspool of fabricating, fostering, and furthering lies on the Internet, television, and radio, reporting is about sharing subjective and provoking nonstories about things that happened, haven’t happened, or might happen. It is also about promising, promoting, and selling nothing with lots of talk and words. Examples that are a source for my anger, contempt, and vitriol for this kind of lying are below and in other “lists” on the blog.
